The Chinese government has authorized travel agencies in Shanghai to organize group trips to South Korea. Small reminder: in retaliation for the deployment of the THAAD in Seongju, the Middle Empire had forbidden its population to travel in groups to the Land of Morning Light.
However, permission was not given to all agencies in this Chinese city. Only three or four have benefited, according to the tourism industry. And they will only be able to promote these trips offline. This excludes, for example, advertising in newspapers or on other websites.
It should also be noted that travellers should not be staying at the Lotte hotel or shopping at the department store of the same name. The Lotte group provided the ground for the American high-altitude missile defence system.
With this new authorization, Chinese from five cities or provinces including Beijing can visit South Korea again as a group.
