In Chile, Accorhotels continues its market


2018 will surely be a record year given the numerous acquisitions for Accorhotels. It is thanks to the sale of part of its portfolio  real estate that the company benefits from very important funds intended to increase the scope of the group.

Multiple acquisitions already in 2018

The group will have swallowed the Swiss group Movenpick. AccorHotels will have taken over the South African company Mantis Group.

The French hotel group added Mantra Group and became the first hotel group in Australia. Accor will also have purchased the Scottish restaurant reservation platform Resdiary.

Acquisition of a Chilean hotel chain

AccorHotels has signed an agreement to acquire the Chilean hotel chain Atton Hoteles. The French group is joining forces with the Chilean Algeciras group in the acquisition, which includes 11 establishments in Chile, Peru, Colombia and Florida. Three other hotels are under development. Accorhotels will acquire 100% of the management company that operates the hotels, as well as 20% of the real estate company that owns the assets.

The hotels will be renamed

The group indicates that the hotels will affix the Pullman, Novotel, MGallery and Mercure brands, depending on the establishments.
