Delta Air Lines launched the new Delta Business website, which will replace the Delta Professional platform, the airline announced last Tuesday. This new site, which Delta previewed last August, will be rolled out gradually to customers until February.
Sara Reid, Delta’s Chief Operating Officer of Sales and Distribution Innovation, said that some features of the platform for travel agencies would be developed during 2026.
Reid indicated that 40 early-bird pilot customers praised the simplicity and functionality of the new site, calling it a « significant improvement » over the old Delta Professional.
The new website, once the customer is logged in, offers a dashboard that « truly provides a one-stop shop for a quick overview of your Delta Business experience, » she explains.
Delta has also introduced a « partnership value » indicator that takes into account the value of the customer contract (including savings on their overall account and the total of their service points and benefits) as well as the value of their experience.
This includes loyalty benefits and services such as priority access, preferred seating (which business customers have free access to), and free Wi-Fi, “a service that many business travelers pay for with other airlines,” Sara Reid explained.
The new site also features operational performance indicators for Delta and its main competitors, including completion rates, punctuality, and the number of mishandled bags.
Customers can also view their upcoming meetings and events, a section that “we plan to improve even further this year,” Sara Reid added.
She acknowledged that the data and reporting section of the site is “still under development,” but stated that “customers will not lose access to the reports they currently have” while Delta invests in more advanced analytics over the next 12 months.
Regarding support, customers will be able to chat directly with international sales solutions specialists from the homepage after logging in.
