Carlson Rezidor becomes Radisson Hotel Group


Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group,   announced yesterday at the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin, that it is repositioning its brand under the name Radisson Hotel Group, effective immediately.

The new identity leverages Radisson’s powerful global brand capital to drive market awareness, increase marketing efficiency across the global portfolio and deliver exceptional experiences so that Every Moment Matters for customers, owners and talent. Each Moment Compte will represent the new signature service philosophy of the company and all its hotel brands.

The new marketing name, Radisson Hotel Group, capitalizes on a strong partnership between Radisson Hospitality, Inc. (formerly Carlson Hotels, Inc.) and Rezidor Hotel Group AB (listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange in Sweden and headquartered in Brussels, Belgium) which has master franchise agreements to develop and operate several brands across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Currently the 11th largest hotel group in the world, the Radisson Hotel Group is composed of eight hotel brands with more than 1,400 hotels in operation and under development.
