Celestyal Cruises has just announced the launch of two new routes between Athens and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) starting in mid-November for its 2026 program aboard its two cruise ships.
First, the Celestyal Journey will depart on November 14 for a seven-night cruise, with stops in Port Said and Safaga (Egypt), a transit through the Suez Canal, Aqaba (Jordan), and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
In addition, an eight-night cruise is offered aboard the Celestyal Discovery, departing on November 20, with stops at the same destinations and an additional stop in Kusadasi, Turkey.
A seven-night cruise departing from Kusadasi is also available.
Following this new schedule, the three-night « Iconic Greek Islands » cruise, departing on November 20, has been canceled.
All affected travel agents have been informed; their commissions are maintained, and they have access to updated information and modification options for their clients.
After these departures, the two ships will continue their journey from Jeddah to the Persian Gulf, allowing them to begin their respective winter seasons.
Demand for Longer Voyages
“The strong demand for our Athens-Jeddah cruises last year confirmed the appeal of these longer voyages, focused on exploring the destination. Building on this success, these new departures facilitate a smooth transition into our third consecutive season in the Persian Gulf,” explained Lee Haslett, Chief Commercial Officer of Celestyal.
In this context, the Celestyal Journey will continue its season in the region, offering a new version of the seven-night « Amazing Desert » itinerary until March 2027, departing from and returning to Doha, Qatar, with stops in Dubai (with one night on board), Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas Island, and Bahrain.
Also of note is that the Celestyal Discovery, also until March 2027, will offer the « Iconic Arabia » cruises of three, four, and seven nights, departing from and returning to Abu Dhabi, with stops in Doha, Khasab, Dubai, Sir Bani Yas Island, and Ras Al Khaimah.
