These two were arrested for money laundering

The National Police’s Economic and Fiscal Crime Unit (UDEF) arrested Julio Martínez, president of the airline Plus Ultra, and Roberto Roselli, CEO, late last week during an operation that also included a search of the company’s headquarters on suspicion of money laundering.

The Europa Press agency reports that the investigation is being handled by Madrid’s Magistrates’ Court No. 15 and is currently being conducted under summary proceedings.

An investigation already conducted in 2023

She explains that this same court was the one that agreed in January 2023 to close the case in which it was investigating alleged irregularities in the €53 million public concession granted to Plus Ultra during the pandemic.
