The Queen Elisabeth arrives in Miami for its Caribbean season

The Queen Elizabeth arrived in Port Miami on Thursday to kick off her inaugural winter Caribbean sailing season. This deployment also marks the first time Cunard has used Miami as a homeport in its 185-year history.

Departing from South Florida, the newly renovated ship will offer a series of nine- to 21-night itineraries to destinations in the Southern, Western, and Eastern Caribbean.

« At Cunard, we believe true luxury is as much about warmth and joy as it is about sophistication, » said Liz Fettes, Cunard’s Senior Vice President of North American Commerce.

« With the arrival of the Queen Elizabeth, we are redefining luxury cruising in the Caribbean with our gracious service, sumptuous Art Deco design, and stirring new entertainment, all combined with Caribbean charm, lively rhythms, and genuine hospitality, » she added.

« We are thrilled to welcome Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth to PortMiami, » said Hydi Webb, Director and CEO of PortMiami.

As part of her first season in the region, the Queen Elizabeth will offer nine- to 21-night Caribbean cruises through April 2026.

The itineraries explore the Eastern Caribbean, visiting ports such as San Juan, Puerto Rico; St. John’s, Antigua; Castries, Saint Lucia; Bridgetown, Barbados; Philipsburg, Saint Maarten; Road Town, Tortola; or the Western Caribbean, while sailing to Amber Cove, Dominican Republic; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Belize City, Belize; and Cozumel, Mexico.

The Queen Elizabeth will offer a series of new culinary and entertainment experiences during her Caribbean season.

Highlights include a new dining concept celebrating the region’s coastal cuisine, plus a curated happy hour featuring Whispering Angel wines.

The entertainment lineup features the first-ever at-sea production of the multi-Olivier and Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away, in addition to performances by Broadway and West End artists.

The Queen Elizabeth also underwent a major renovation ahead of her Miami debut, introducing enhanced public spaces and modernized venues.

After her winter season in the Caribbean, the Queen Elizabeth is scheduled to return to Seattle in May to launch a summer season in Alaska.
