But why is the air conditioning in the planes always pushed to the maximum?

It’s a well-known fact that people freeze in planes. Always pushed to the maximum, the air conditioning during our aerial escapades obliges us to put on three layers of clothes and give our travels expedition air for the North Pole. But in reality, this has a valid reason.

Have you ever noticed how cold it is on planes?
Often forced to travel with the air conditioning pushed to the maximum, it is not uncommon for us to spend all the flight wrapped in blankets as we head towards sunny regions.

But why the hell are airlines having fun transforming their aircraft into real freezers?
Well, as you can imagine, there is an explanation. According to a study carried out by ASTM International and relayed by Metro UK, air conditioning in aircraft is used to cool the air so that the ambient temperature does not rise too high.

Because some people, more sensitive to heat and pressure in the cabins, would once in altitude be more likely to be victims of hypoxia. A phenomenon that causes a decrease in the amount of oxygen distributed by the blood to tissues and which in other words makes us fall into the apples. This is why in aircraft, the air is cooled to the maximum in order to avoid fainting and hot flashes from certain passengers.

You’ve been warned. So you don’t have to bitch next time when you come back from Rio with a little sore throat.
