Oval ball enthusiasts to meet in San Francisco from 20 to 22 July for the world rugby seven-a-side championship. The matches will take place at AT&T Park, headquarters of the of the famous San Francisco Giants baseball team.
The famous stadium will serve as the setting for this exceptional competition which will be played between 24 teams men and 16 teams women.
With a capacity of 42,000 spectators, AT&T Park is one of the best of its kind in the United States; it is located in the lower part of San Francisco, not far from the seaside, offering a magnificent view of the bay.
This is the first time such an event has been held in the United States and the whole city will be celebrating the ovaly and the sporting spirit.
Fans of the various teams will have plenty of time to discover San Francisco and its many sights, restaurants and bars.
