W Hotels is back in Australia with the opening of W Brisbane

The W Brisbane has opened its doors in the « State of the Sun », while the iconic brand continues its pioneering journey around the world.

W Hotels Worldwide, a Marriott International brand, is back in Australia today with the opening of the W Brisbane. Owned by Shayher Group, the W Brisbane is a dynamic new asset for southeast Queensland (also known as the « Sun State »).

This new hotel enjoys an exceptional location overlooking the Brisbane River and offers a blend of urban style and modern design, in a resolutely dynamic Australian approach. With its sunny days and electrifying nights, the W Brisbane offers the ideal setting to soak up the cultural richness of the city and the vitality of its nightlife.

Brisbane is one of Australia’s fastest-growing cities and is therefore an ideal location for W to set up its new hotel. Located on the banks of the river, in the heart of the city’s central business district, the W Brisbane celebrates the history of this famous region.

The establishment is inspired by Brisbane’s connection to Australian identity and Queensland’s iconic flora and fauna. It offers a relaxed atmosphere and sends an ironic wink to « Brisvegas », the nickname of the city of Brisbane.
